Dear jim
it would appear in a 10 seconds read of the job that you have not fitted
the "mu" term. ASReml stand-alone requires "mu" to be specified. I could
check the page of the manual....

Anyway this means that HR is fitted with 3 effects, as there is no overall
intercept in the design matrix.
