specifying linear contrasts in ASReml-R

Hello.

I want to use ASReml-R more frequently in the future but I have some trouble figuring out how to specify linear contrasts with ASReml-R.
I fitted a linear mixed model:

asr <- asreml( fixed=Ker_Glc~Genotype+DPP+Genotype*DPP, random=~Genotype:DPP:Plant+Genotype:DPP:Plant:Sample, data=tmp2)

There are three genotypes, A, B, and AB representing two parents and their hybrid. I would like to test the hypothesis: AB-A/2-B/2=0.
What do I have to do? I have read section "Prediction from the linear model" of the manual but could not figure out how to get there.

Could someone help me with this?

Thanks in advance!

Andre
