Standard error of prediction

Dear all,
I am running animal model for litter size at birth (LSB) with linear and
Poisson model. Can I use the last column of the solution file (*.sln)
to compare the goodness of fit for the two models? I also wonder how
the last column (standard error of prediction) is computed specifically
in ASReml.
