Dear Agus,
I have an error message "GLM bounds failure" when running GLM using
!POISSON qualifier. The manual indicates that the data needs to be
checked. Can somebody please explain it in more detail.
The message is generated when ASReml detects predicted values which it
assesses are too small
(or too large). There should be some extra numbers in the output which
report the iteration number,
the number below a lower bound, the average of those numbers.
So I suspect you may be fitting a model where some classes have all zero
observations.
If you feel the criterion is unreasonable, or this does not seem to be the
explanation,
I am happy to look at your particular example.
