Repeated measures, fac and CHOL

Dear Dave,
Hi

?

Try removing 8 !I from the day line and

 lnggt ~ fac(day) !r tag.fac(day)
 1 2 1
 anim !S2==1
 8 0 POW .9 .05 .22 .38 .45 .65 .47 .50 .50
 # assumes data is sorted dat within animal
 tag.fac(day) 2
 tag 0 AINV
 8 fac(day) POW .9 1.04 1.16 1.27 1.24 1.05 1.16 1.00 .91

Check the .res file for encoding of day values.

Two bands (default) means matrix looks like

  A B 0 0 0 0
  B C D 0 0 0
  0 D E F 0 0
  0 0 F G H 0
  0 0 0 H I J
  0 0 0 0 J K

  Three bands looks like

  A B M 0 0 0
  B C D N 0 0
  M D E F Q 0
  0 N F G H P
  0 0 Q H I J
  0 0 0 P J K

I have implemented but am still testing a reduced rank model
which models S=LL' and L looks like

  A 0 0
  B C 0
  D E F
  G H I
  J K L
  M N O
