Hi,
I am trying to calculate MA Blups after Fernando Grossman and have set
up a small example pedigree with seven animals. I have calculated a giv
file for paternal and maternal marker allels which has the size 14x14
but I am struggling to set up a correct model in asreml:

animal !P
fixed
trait
pmall
mmall
exampleped.txt
examplegiv.txt
exampledat.txt !skip 1

trait ~ mu fixed !r animal giv(pmall,1) giv(mmall,1)

This only works when I declare pmall and mmall as !I 14, but that cannot
be right.

Any help welcome.
