error message from Derek Roff on 2007-10-17 (ASReml discussion list archive for October 2007)

I have an asreml program that works ok for some data sets
but not others. I believe the error is in the pedigree file
but I cannot find it. SPLUS gives me the message

Problem: Invalid frame number (0) in set_frame, while
calling subroutine pedigree
Use traceback() to see the call stack

Does anyone know what this error message means?
