Subject: Re: F-adj and F-incr
Dear Jarrod,
re:
The current version of ASReml that I am using is not printing the adjusted
F-statistic. Is it possible to get both the adjusted and incremental F
statistics some how?
In ASReml 1.10, the qualifier !TYPEIII returns what ASReml calls F-adj
and is the test of the given term adjusted for all others.
In later versions, the qualifier returns a CONDITIONAL test, each term is
tested ignoring model terms to which it is marginal.
i.e. A test of A.B adjusted for A.B.C returned in ASReml 1.10 is
generally nonsence
but in 1.63, the conditional test for A.B would be ignoring any A.B.C
term in the model.
with God's love in the Name of Jesus Christ.
