The 2005 Armidale Animal Breeding Summer Course
will be held from 7 February - 18 February 2005

There will be 3 modules,

Part 1: Skills in Scientific Writing
         Lecturer: David Lindsay
         2 days: 7-8 February

Part 2: Defining and realizing breeding objectives
             Lecturers: John Gibson, Julius van der Werf and Brian Kinghorn
             3 days: 9-11 February

Part 3: Genetic analysis using ASReml
             Lecturer: Arthur Gilmour
              5 days: 14-18 February

                 Day one Getting started with ASReml
                 Day two Sire and Animal models
                 Day 3 Random Regression, repeated observations
                 Day 4 Multivariate
                 Day 5 Prediction, and other topics.
