Dear friends,
It is likely that I will be visiting the UK an October principally to
work with Dr Robin Thompson on ASREML and New Zealand in Dec.
I could extend my trips
to include other places where ASREML is used or where there is work
on or related to the analysis of QTLs. I could give a seminar or
small workshop on ASREML or simply meet with appropriate biometricians/
researchers.
If you would like me to visit, please email me a proposal and I will see
what itinerary I can put together. I need to do it this week. I expect
my hosts will meet accomodation and local travel costs associated with
my visit to you as NSW Agriculture requires such travel to be fully funded.
The proposal should include reasons which I can use to justify the visit to
my Department as well as the advantages to you.
Visits to places in Europe could occur in October, other places either
immediately
before or after.
Yours sincerely
Arthur Gilmour
