Dear Hermann,
Bending is invoked when you say you want a positive definite matrix but
the data points to a negative definite matrix.

Since there is a functional realationship,
it is probably better to derive the
components for the 3rd trait from those
of the first 2 rather than trying to estimate them.

You could try all pairwise combinations.

Another possability is to remove the !GP requirement [ie use !GU]

Basically, it is very unlikely you will obtain a sensible answer
fitting 3 functionally linked traits with !GP.

Using !GU may also fail if the matrix becomes singular which it
would if you analysed A, B and A+B
