Dear Javier,
1. You increase the memory with the -s command line option.
i.e. run
asreml -s4 SMGS
This will increase tthe memory from 8Mb to 128 Mb
2. You do not need the !A as well as the !P on the
IS SIRE and MGS lines.
3. Your model with !r Tr.SIRE Tr.MGS
is looking for direct and maternal effects! Maybe
you should just start with an animal model Tr.ID
