Further to my last email,
ASReml does give the correct answers if you do not use !ASMV 2

This may necessitate including mv in the model if there are missing
values in the data.

My test job is attached. Parts 1 2 5 6 7 8 give correct results, parts 3
and 4 do not produce the correct variance
