Dear Mick,

The Sun is more finicky with Arithmetic exceptions than the Linux
implementation.  It seems as if the Sun run had almost finished.
It may have been writing the .yht file or processing the
residuals statistics when it crashed.  My only suggestion is to
send me the job and I'll try and locate the actual problem.

Concerning the timing,  the Sun version is compiled without
optimization while the Linux version has basic optimization
